There Once Was A Man

Who Walked Among The Pharaohs

Who Defined The Very Gravity

That Keeps Us,

Grounded Here And Now We Stand

Only Because He Has Already Tested These Waters

There Once Was a Man

With A Mouth Of Gold,

Hands Of Fire,

And A Tongue Of Silk.

Silk Tongue.

There Once Was a Man

Whose Words Could Literally Be Wrung

From The Cranial Sponges Of Those Who

Crossed His Path.

Their Tongues Dry, As They Could Now

Understand That Their Truths Were His

Meanings

There Once Was a Man

Who Balanced The Weight Of The World

On His Shoulders,

Effortlessly,

As If The Universe Weighed Less Than

A Mere Thread Of Silk

There Once Was a Man

Who Dug His Feet Into The Soil Of

The Universe

Making Every Galaxy Take Note

Of His Excellence And Vibrancy

There Once Was a Man

This Man

This Is A

Man.

Grace.
